Hi Nathan, In the most recent 9.1 hotfixes and one of the 10 SP1 releases the option to "Also apply this restriction to connecting existing pages" was added to the top of the Preassign Content Class dialog which should address your issue. Even if this does stop the end users from connecting/references those objects, I think we all agree that it would be good to clean up the undesirable content classes in search options.
