The CMS is mostly COM.  And VB at that.  The COM libraries have
dependencies on the Windows operating system APIs.
The versions that incorporate some .Net also come with Windows
Services, which also depend on the Windows infrastructure, including
the Registry.
There is no conceivable way this could be run on any platform other
than Windows.
