The RedHat Linux 6.0 and 6.1 use the egcs 1.1.2-12 and 1.1.2-24
respectively. What is the difference between these two releases ? Will
there be any difference in the binaries created by these two versions ?
In other words, will the binaries created by one version be used with
the binaries created by the other version ? How is the last number of
the version maintained, it does not seem to be done by the GNU folks ?
