Thank you for your reply.

Due to the delay between your internal development versions and what
is published on your ftp site, and to ftp mirrors, it is hard to know
if the problems seen when building from source are solved already or
not. The rawhide releases are not too frequent either. 

What to do, stop reporting and trying to fix bugs and wait
for the next rawhide release, report things that maybe have been solved
already or, ...?

BTW: The same problems with OPEN_MAX also exist in autofs and bdflush,
reported earlier.

PS: Did you see my post on groff, patch proposals included and a
question of how to interpret FHS for app-defaults files. Would really
appreciate a reply on that one.
