Well, except that the script that I wrote to install RPMs everywhere doesn't
use --nodeps, and I'm not at all convinced that it should in the general case.
Actually more to the point of what I really want to do (and didn't realize
yet that this was my real question when I wrote the last mail), why aren't
threads enabled in the redhat perl rpm (apparently either the 5.003 or 5.6
RPM)?
I also just found that I can't rebuild 5.00503-12 under redhat-7.0 with an
error which looks very similar to one that I got when freeswan wouldn't
build....
~sigh~ Why did I forget my mantra: "Never run a dot-oh release of
