Channel bonding works without the fancy cisco parts. If you are using intel server NICs you can check out the iANS drivers, google for it. Works with failover and channel bonding. Remember that there are some issues concerning database and data lose. Also this will not help you if you are trying to increase your broadband band width as channel bonding creates a virtual adapter which makes multiple NICs work as one.
