Ok, was trying to install good ol BitchX and it said that it had a failed dependency of libncurses.so.4 which I supposes was supplied by ncurses-4.1-12.i386.rpm -- I tried to install rpm -ivh nurses*** and there was a whole bunch of conflicts...so I figured...ah! Upgrade time -- so I pulled a rpm -Uvh ncurses*** and this is what I got.... [root@Crowley /]# rpm -Uvh ncurses-4.1-12.i386.rpm ncurses ################unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/lib/terminfo: -9: Operation not permitted error: ncurses-4.1-12.i386.rpm cannot be installed Please help me kind sirs and sirettes!
