I've just come back from the UKUUG's Linux conference, where one of the
KDE developer's (Richard Moore?) said that this is because they had to
hold it up a little having found a couple of bugs that they didn't think
should be in a "non beta" version. Or something...
I got the impression that version one proper would be out within a month
(and possibly a bit before).
