I'm trying to retrofit a RH50 box with a SCSI adapter. It didn't have one when I first built it. Because the box is an active mailhub I couldn't take it offline for testing, so I added the adapter (aic7xxx) to a twinned system and got it working there (using a modular driver). Then I moved the initrd, conf.modules and kernel (2.0.32) along with the card to the mailhub. The SCSI card and tape unit is seen on the mailhub, but after initializing the SCSI it stops with "unable to open an initial console" I'm missing something critical. Any suggestions?
