Listers, X Issue. I am using a newly installed RedHat 5.0 system (pristine) and Metro X (maybe I've said enough, but I'll continue). If I boot up in single user mode and run startx, everything works fine; HOWEVER, when I boot into muti-user mode and run startx I get the generic gray X screen with the "X" mouse cursor. No mouse buttons invoke menus, nothing. What is up with that? I did find out that if I comment out the Xclients line of the xinitrc file the system will come up, but very ugly looking. Why would Xclients not work when booted in mult-user mode? Any ideas?
