I'm not on a crusade here, but I would just like to pose a question or
two.  Why do we post to this list?  If it's because we want an answer to
that question, then don't we want as many people to read it as possible?
Doesn't it also make sense that people who are very busy (and there MUST
be a reason they're so busy) may not take the time to decipher messages
where the have to sort out tags from text, especially when they have tons
of messages, the vast majority of which are EASY to read?  

Speaking only for myself, if I care that MY messages get read, I make
some effort to make them easy to read.
