I do.

YOu can rm a (possibly large) file from the system, but if some program
still has that file open the file is not actually deleted (i.e., the 
space released) until that program closes the file. Note that the link
(i.e., directory entry) IS removed by rm, but since the file is still
in use the OS will not actually free the space until it is no longer  in
use.
