Assuming you have an appropriate RPM installed and 5.1 hasn't done
anything too drastic:

   /etc/rc.d/init.d/news start

By default it gets started at bootup.  You really need to read the
documentation in /usr/doc/inn-<version> and configure things
appropriately before you do this though.  The install document and the
FAQ are particularly helpful, and most problems will be reported in
/var/spool/messages .  Note that RedHat have moved their config files
into /etc/news/ and /var/lib/news/ .
