I have a second disk drive I have been using for DOS
partitions. I had created it using Windows95 fdisk as an extended
partition
and created 3 logical paritions inside of it (G,H,I). I used Partition
Magic to
delete the I partition and then shrunk the extended partition to create
free space at the end of the drive. In trying to install RedHat 5,
it does not see the second drive correctly using linux fdisk. The
partition table is a follows :
Device Begin Start End Blocks ID System
/tmp/hdd1 2 2 459 3678885 f
UNKNOWN
Disk Druid does the same thing.
Linux fdisk is apparently not recognizing this as an extended dos
partition.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
