since it was brougt up, could anyone tell me the pros and cons about
redhat vs. devian vs. slackware vs caldera etc.
I heard that to upgrade debian, all you have to do is go to their web
page and ask them to determine which packages needed upgraded. this
would appear to be quite benificial. As i understand my redhat 5.0
system, i need to either decide i need an upgrade of such and such, and
go their site and download the upgrade, or buy a newer cd and then it
will determine what can be upgraded.
