A foolish suggestion:
  If you have pico, you can type the followings:

  pico [Enter]
  ^R   [Enter]
  ^T   [Enter]
  (Select any file you want to delete)
  D    [Enter]

  It requires many steps, but it works anyway :-)

  Anyother foolish suggestion:

  Create any files start with "+" by any means, say, +tmp;
  issue the command:
  rm -i *
 
  Delete the files you dislike and quit.

  (The above is what I did before I know the faster way).
