Configure of an Internal Tape Drive?

Hi,

 

 I am trying to figure out how to configure the Conner Internal Tape Drive
I have on my system. Being some what new at this I'm not exactly sure where to
start. I do know the tape drive is using I/O port 3f0 and IRQ 6. Is there a HOW
TO that relates directly to configuring a tape drive?
Any help would be appreciated.
