Uh oh...NO INITAB?

Just got finished with a LONG, fresh install.

When it went to boot up for the first time, It's screaming along just fine,
and then:

INIT:  version 2.71 booting
INIT:  No inittab file found

What's wrong here?  Have I gotten something misconfigured?

How do I fix this?!
