Hi All!

First - Happy New Years to all!

Second, this is an off topic item, so if someone can direct me to the
correct list, I'd appreciate it.

Anyway, I have a Logitech USB QuickCam Web running under Red Hat 8.0 using
Video4Linux and qce-ga-0.40c. It works fine under the old RealProducer 8.5
Basic, but the inability to be able to specify the PID file, etc makes it
limiting. So, I'm trying to get it to run under the Helix Producer Basic.

Everytime I try to start Helix, I get the error:
Error: Failed to open /dev/video0 (/dev/video0). Video device may be
in use
        or unavailable

I get this error every-now-and-then under RealProducer 8.5, but all I do is
to do a
        "rmmod mod_quickcam;insmod mod_quickcam"
And this seems to release whatever is "using" the module. (Anyone have any
idea why this would be happening with both versions?). However, this
doesn't work with Helix Producer.

So, if anyone has any ideas or can point me to the right list (or newsgroup,
though I can't seem to find one under Google Groups), I'd appreciate it!

Cheers,
Mike
