I recently fought this same issue on a Compaq Proliant 1600R. While researching my issue I ran across several similar cases on 1850's. I was finally able to track down a solution. Try this link: http://www.tadlocks.net/linux/rh8-pl1600r.html Try option one first. If that fails move on to option two is reported to have worked for other people (though it did not work on the 1600R I had). If this works, please let me know so I can update the web page to include the 1850R.
