Hi all. Does anyone now how I can prevent the up2date of a RedHat 8 system from selecting the AIC7xxx module? After up2date-ing the kernel, it keeps selecting the AIC7xxx module instead of the (old-but-reliable) AIC7xxx_old modules and this causes kernel panics.
