Looks like this in dreamweavermx window:
login as: ckibler
ckibler@hostname's password:
?]0;ckibler@RHL1:~[ckibler@RHL1 ckibler]$
This is happening on both Linux boxes that I have just set up. This also occurs when I just try it from a command line in a DOS shell on the PC.
It almost look like an emulation error?
In Dreamweaver it then tries to connect to the Linux server using local host 127.0.0.1, comes back with a window "Waiting for server" and then eventually says that it fails to connect.
I downloaded the latest from the Macromedia Site and still the same problem.
Another twist - when I use the same method to connect to another box (True64 Unix) all works well!
Do I need a different rpm for the Linux boxes??
Severely Confused at this point!
BTW: I am new to Linux and just started back into UNIX environment last year after about 20+ years of being away, that and True64 is a different breed from what I used back in military many moons ago!
Any help would be appreciated.
Found a recent fix to installing Coldfusion MX and using Apache 2.0.43 if anyone is interested!
Thanks in advance!
