In setting up SSH Tunnel for using DreamweaverMX I am running Putty and Plink, Linux 8.0
In testing and setup with Putty I get the following response
login as: ckibler
ckibler@hostname's password:
[ckibler@RHL1 ckibler]$
With Plink I get:
Using username "ckibler".
ckibler@hostname's password:
?]0;ckibler@RHL1:~[ckibler@RHL1 ckibler]$
This almost looks like an emulation error!
When I connect to a true64 Unix box it works fine and plink looks exactly like the putty
The only difference that I can see is that the Unix box env does not have a LANG defined and the Linux box is defined as UTF-8
Anyone out there got a clue?
Also - where can I see the options for LANG and then change them globally
Thanks
