I work in a manufacturing environment and we have a LAN that is used in botht he office and on the production floor. I would like to seperate the office from the shop into a different subnet. Would I need to set up a linux box as a router to accomplish this? Also any help or suggestions would be appreciated as I am new to linux and subnetting in general. Thanks
