Yes it was renamed. The community edition really has a lot of features (like Tomcat embbedded and ant included for build work and mobile editions and cvs client (for getting and building open source projects ect..).
The only trouble I had was installing the ide/java sdk combo package. It didn't set the java_home properly and wouldn't install the ide until the home was set. Easy to fix, just set the JAVA_HOME and then re-install. There's a better explaination on the install? forum for for Forte. Also, Forte and NetBeans are built off the same code. People advised me that Forte on Linux can be tricky to install and suggested NetBeans instead. Happy coding and please make a killer-app to sink Bill G and his evil ways.
