Hi,

I used the redhat apache configuration tool to configure apache for
multiple virtual domains. But since then, ports 80 and 443 are closed,
however the httpd deamon seems to be started. But when I request the
status of httpd I get "httpd died but pid file still exists". When I
shutdown the httpd deamon I get de failure "no httpd running" and when I
start httpd there are no error messages, but a simple test with a
browser says the server is down.

So I guess now my server is configurated on such a way that the server
just crashes all the time.
Also when I restore the old configuration the problem still exists.
Only when I reboot the computer AND restore the old configuration the
problems are away. But when I restart with new confifuration the
problems arise.
Now I discovered the problem only arises if the ssl.conf file is loaded.
So there must be something wrong with the SSL config or module.

Is anyone familiar to this problem? I use Apache 2.0.40.

Bastiaan
