I have a dual boot - XP and RH. My XP's filesystem is FAT32, so I can read/write to those partitions after they're mounted. There are utilities for Windows that allow you to read/write to EXT3 file systems, but that's a bit of a kludge - so it might work and might not work. Having a partition that is setup as FAT32/VFAT that you can swap data to is the better of the ideas as it won't muck up your OS or root file system. -- Tue, 4 Feb 2003 06:20:00 +1100 6:20am up 10:46, 4 users, load average: 0.10, 0.18, 0.19 ------------------------------------------------------------------ | __ __ | kuhn media australia | | / ,, /| |'-. | http://kma.0catch.com | | .\__/ || | | |=================================| | _ / `._ \|_|_.-' | stephen kuhn | | | / \__.`=._) (_ | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | |/ ._/ |"""""""""| | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | |'. `\ | | | icq: 5483808 | | ;"""/ / | | | | | smk ) /_/| |.-------.| | mobile: 0410-728-389 | | ' `-`' " " | Berkeley, New South Wales, AU | ------------------------------------------------------------------ linux user:267497 * RH 8.0 * PC/Mac/Linux/Networking/Consulting ------------------------------------------------------------------ "Protozoa are small, and bacteria are small, but viruses are smaller than the both put together." -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
