My first inclination from the message, is that you have a networking problem.
It appears that the dns request is getting to the DNS server, but when the server 
attempts to send the reply, it's either timing out, or it's getting a ICMP message 
from some networking element (switch, router, etc.) that says the host is unreachable.

The first thing that comes to mind is perhaps your netmask is wrong.
Try to ping 192.168.0.2 from the DNS server.  (or even better, traceroute it.)

The bottom line, it looks like the route from the client to the server is good, but 
the return path is broken.

hi folks! 

i'm receiving a lot of error messages in /var/log/messages coming from bind 
.. 
the message is like this: 

named[1222]: client 192.168.0.2#1681: error sending response: host 
unreachable 

my named is master and i don't have slaves servers... 
before i was use the brazilian dist. (conectiva8) and works fine... 
now in redhat 8 , my named works well, but with this errors messages... 

anyone can help me ?
