Test install failed because ....

Hi All:

I ran the up2date -u and it did update all of the packages except to kernel-smp-2.4.18-24.7.x.

It gives me this message:

"Test install failed because of package conflicts: installing package kernel-smp-2.4.18-24.7.x needs 2Mb on the / filesystem"

I searched google, redhat, etc. without any success.

Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
