I have been using IPCop for about 18 months?, and it works GREAT!! And, they have a supper mailing list to answer all your questions (after you have read the FAQs, "RTFM", etc...). And there really isn't any reason to mess with ipchains/iptables rules. Just a 20M+ ISO download, and load on an old junk PC.
