I'll bet you had the RealPlayer libraries in a directory like
/usr/local/lib/ that is present in /etc/ld.so.conf, right? For some
reason realplayer 5.0b3 and up seems to have broken support for this;
I found I had to explicitly define LD_LIBRARY to where the libraries
were. I'm not sure whether it's a problem with the version of ld.so
RedHat ships or with rvplayer; probably the latter.
