Hi, When analysing some of my error logs, the "Kernel startup log" shows me the following:
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k scsi_hostadapter, errno = 2 Yet just under it displays the following: scsi0 : Adaptec AIC7XXX EISA/VLB/PCI SCSI HBA DRIVER, Rev 6.2.8 <Adaptec 2940 Ultra2 SCSI adapter> aic7890/91: Ultra2 Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 32/253 SCBs which tells me that the driver is loaded fine. My modules.conf file displays: alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc alias eth0 eepro100 alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx alias usb-controller usb-uhci alias scsi_hostadapter1 aha1542 So I'm wondering why this issue is showing up. I run RH8.0 with the stock Red Hat 2.4.18-24.8.0 kernel. Any comments are appreciated. Michael. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
