doesn't make install work anymore, this use to cp the image to /boot and create the grub entry?

Matt

The procedure I use is:

make dep clean bzImage modules modules_install

You can do it all on the one line, and you should make
dep before clean.

Hi,

 I've just installed Redhat 8 and need to add some
 options to  the
 kernel. I've done.

 cd /usr/src/linux-2.4/
 make xconfig

and then changed the config to my needs and then

 make clean && make dep && make && make bzImage &&
 make modules &&
 make modules_install && make install

 this line use to work with my 7.1 box but it wont
 work with 8

Any help would be great?

Matt
