I've had a slightly similar with AHA-2940 and 39160 cards. The driver that cames with the 7.x and up distributions don't like me, but the ones from Adaptec seem to work fine.
Go to:
http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/drivers_by_product.html?sess=no&lan guage=English+US&cat=%2fProduct%2fASC-29320-R&prodkey=Adaptec+SCSI+Card+2932 0-R#Linux
And get the correct driver for your card. Use rawrite from Windows to make the driver floppy. You can also do this from a linux box with: dd if=/path/to/your/diskette/image of=/dev/fd0
Boot from the Red Hat CD and at the prompt enter: linux noprobe
When the install starts, it won't find your adaptor. Go into the select SCSI driver section and hit F2. Put your diskette in the drive and hit enter. Then go through your list of drivers and select the driver it might be something like aic7xxx (updated) or the name of your chipset on your card.
Proceed as normal.

Hi!
I have two new server with intel server board S845WD1-E and Adaptec SCSI card 29320 on it. During installation RedHat 7.3 can't detect the Adaptec 29320 card. What should I do in order to use this card?
Thanks
