I recently grabbed the updated kernel from Red Hat Update. I then
proceeded to recompile it but decided to switch back to the default one
from Red Hat.
Now, I am trying to reconfigure VMWare but it is telling me "The directory
of kernel headers (version 2.4.18-24.8.0custom) does not match your
running
kernel (version 2.4.18-24.8.0)". I'd like to just reinstall the update,
getting the kernel and kernel source so everything is just a plain
"vanilla" Red Hat system. I tried grabbing the RPMs for the update but
that does not appear to be doing the trick. How do I go about fixing this?
