I'm using a linux running kernel ver 2.4.2-7 as my tftp server. The server works fine
and is being used for tftp'ying files extensively. But once in a while, it hangs and I
need to restart xinetd. When I check /var/log/messages, I see the following

Mar 6 20:10:08 abc-tftp rsh(pam_unix)[16139]: session opened for user su-abc by
(uid=0)
Mar 6 20:10:08 ash-tftp rsh(pam_unix)[16139]: session closed for user su-abc
Mar 6 20:10:56 ash-tftp xinetd[15080]: tftp service was deactivated because of looping

What is the problem here and how can I rectify this?
