Just a quick info. I had (initially) a lot of bother subscribing to this list. The maintainer of the list indicated to me it was the mailler in netscape (4.04) that was the culprit, always signing the email header as from root@blahblahblah, irrespective of whether the root account, or a normal user account was being used to invoke netscape. Apparently, the root@ is not something the list mechanisms will swallow, but it seems with this latest revision (4.05) of netscape, such things are fixed...(well, if this hiits the list it is ;) Just thought it worth mentioning.
