How do i configure programs to startup automatically in X. I currently run
RH 8.0 but have found no way to setup programs to start automatically when I
enter the GNOME desktop. I thought maybe the .xinitrc file would be used
for this but I cant seem to make it work. Any ideas are appreciated.
In GNOME 1.4 (RH7.x) it's somewhere under Foot -> Settings -> Session.
