You said you had installed pcmcia-cs-3.2.4, but the message above seems to indicate otherwise: Linux Kernel Card Services 3.1.22 Did the stock kernel-pcmcia-cs packages not work for you? How did you determine PCIC="yenta_socket" Most of the info I've seen for Toshiba laptops seems to indicate PCIC=i82365 is correct.
