I have a compaq server that is running rh 7.3 and connected to a specter logix tape library and a sony ait 50 gig tape drive. My NetVault software says the tape drive is not longer on line. I reboot and it appears that all is fine and then I get a scrolling error on my screen. Below is the /var/log/messages file. It appears to be hardware but is it possible that it is something else. It was working and then I redid the server and the only difference between then and now is the "PowerSchute software from APC. PLEASE ANY HELP would be great.
