how about /full/path/to/your/java -version
like so:


$ /usr/java/j2re1.4.1/bin/java -version
java version "1.4.1"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.1-b21)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.1-b21, mixed mode)

java version "1.3.1_02"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1_02-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.1_02-b02, mixed mode)

Java works ok in Mozilla complete with applets but how do I get it to run in Konq....I put in the full path but going to http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm...it etll me no java is enabled
