Make sure you have the "ipchains" package installed. You find it on
disc #3. Verify that service "iptables" is disabled:

  service iptables stop
  chkconfig --level 2345 iptables off

At this point you may need to remove iptables kernel modules
manually (or via a reboot).

Optionally, uninstall the iptables package (and its dependencies).
Make use of service "ipchains" if you are familiar with it and
if you put your rules into "/etc/sysconfig/ipchains".
