can NOT create lilo boot diskette ??

I have RedHAt AS server version.  I tried to create "lilo" boot diskette and 
NOT successful.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# lilo -b /dev/fd0
Ignoring entry 'boot'
Added linux *


If I put this diskette on server and reboot, Nothing show up.  Can anyone 
tell me why?
