If you're not going to be using Evolution, you could remove Evolution
altogether and have the issue with the alarm altogether...it's going to
automagically start; and if you kill that process, if you start
Evolution again, it's going to start that process again. You can type
"killev" in a term and kill all Evolution processes if you so desire,
but in reality, just remove that package and you won't have this running
ever again, mate.
