The m/c which is configured with hosts.deny & hosts.allow is redhat 8.0
and the m/c from which only two users suppose to access is solaris 8.0
.....

That's all? There's more to do. Apart from that, "user1,[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
is not valid hosts.allow syntax.

Your answer surprises me because you didn't mention identd at all.
Did you read the manual section I pointed you to? What kind of
machine is "atlas"? Does it have an RFC 931 protocol compliant
daemon running? If so, how is it configured?

Btw, please reply below quotes and trim your quotes.
