You could start a second X server as display :1 and let your brother
switch to that one while you lock your screen on display :0. For
starters, try

  CTRL+ALT+F1
  <log in your brother>
  startx -- :1

That should start X a second time and you should be able to switch
between both displays with CTRL+ALT+F7 (your display) and CTRL+ALT+F8
(your brothers display).
