Hi,

I'm looking to setup an internet gateway on one of our servers. I have a
LINUX 9 server with 2 network cards. One NIC has the IP address 10.1.50.70
(subnet 255.255.0.0) and is visible to my internal network. The second
card has an IP address of 192.168.254.250 (subnet 255.255.255.0). This
second network card is the one the is linked to our ADSL line (IP address
192.168.254.254 subnet 255.255.255.0). I need to be able to setup the
server so the internal network can connect to the internet via the second
network card. Unfortunately I can't get this to work. I can only get it
to work if the NIC's are on the same subnet.

Can anybody offer any advice or tell me how to do it?

Thanks

Steve

Iptables can be a bit tricky, but this document helped me out....
