There are multiple CDs. Do not just go armed with one. When copying
the ISO to CD, ensure that you choose the option in your burning
application to create the CD from the ISO. When you're done, you'll
have a CD that looks complete on Windows (assuming that's where you're
burning it from) with a bunch of root directories. If you have a single
file with a .iso extension on the CD, you need to try again.

Note also that 7.3 is not a current release. Although supported
(through the end of this year) and fully functional, if you've never
installed Red Hat Linux before you might want to go with Red Hat Linux
9. It's also available via a free download.

Yup. The installation guide is on the documentation CD. If you've
never read it, now's your chance.

You need to read the Installation Guide. It's also on Red Hat's web
site. Asking questions here is not a replacement for reading the
published vendor documentation. If you're read the guide and still have
questions, then by all means ask specific questions.

The images are complete and ready to go. You do not need any compilers
to complete the installation.
