If you're using RH7.3, then just grab the Mozilla RPMs for RH7.3 from
mozilla.org. They work perfectly on my machine, together with
j2re-1.4.0_02-fcs I installed earlier on from Sun. The gcc-3.x
requirement is only valid for the binaries provided for RH8/RH9 - the
RH7.x stuff is gcc-2.9x.
